The Order Block Stack I Run
Three indicators on every chart for OB-focused trading:
- FOB Order Block — primary entry signal (fresh bullish/bearish OBs)
- Market Structure — context filter (only trade OBs aligned with structure)
- FVG — entry precision (favour OBs that overlap with FVGs)
That stack handles 90% of ICT-style setups. Add Liquidity Zone if you want stop-hunt context. Add Breaker Block if you want to also trade post-BOS reversal entries.
What I Don’t Use
Two OB-adjacent tools that get recommended but don’t earn space on my charts:
Mitigation block indicators — most are repackaged “any tested OB” detectors that don’t filter for genuine breaker conditions. Use the strict Breaker Block (with BOS confirmation) instead.
Multi-timeframe OB dashboards — visually busy and the per-timeframe OBs they list aren’t usually high-quality (no impulse filter). Just apply the OB indicator to the timeframe you trade.
