The Wolf Blackout Approach

One trigger isn't a signal. Five filters voting is.

Most signal indicators are a single condition wearing a dress. A moving-average crossover. A single oscillator turn. A Bollinger band touch. You take the trade, the market does whatever it wants, and you blame the indicator. The truth is that any one filter, on its own, is a coin flip — sometimes a bit better, sometimes a bit worse.

Wolf Blackout Trader starts with a primary trigger — a dual Range Filter that blends a fast filter and a slow filter into a single smoothed-ATR line — and then asks four more independent filters to vote. Every signal label shows the vote count as stars, 1 to 5. You set the minimum threshold. You see, on every signal, exactly how much agreement there was. No more taking 1-star trades by accident.

Single-Filter Signal Indicators A trigger fires. You take the trade. You have no idea whether the trend agrees, whether RSI agrees, whether the higher timeframe agrees, whether volume is participating. You're trading on faith.
Wolf Blackout Trader A trigger fires + four independent filters vote. The star count next to the label tells you whether 2 voted yes or 5 did. You set the minimum bar to enter. You trade what the chart actually agrees on.

Five filters voting on every signal

Each layer is independent and contributes one point to the confluence score. The Range Filter trigger is the heartbeat — the other four are the orchestra. The star count next to every label tells you the score.

1

Range Filter Trend

Dual blend — fast filter (L=32, sens 1.67) + slow filter (L=89, sens 6.0). Bull regime when price > filter and up-streak rising.

2

RSI Side

RSI(14) above 50 confirms bullish bias, below 50 confirms bearish. A simple, robust momentum vote.

3

EMA Trend

Close above EMA(144) confirms long bias, below confirms short. The classic trend filter, fast enough for H1, slow enough to avoid noise.

4

HTF EMA Agreement

Higher-timeframe EMA(144) must agree (1H default, fully configurable). Non-repaint HTF fetch — no future-data leakage.

5

Volume Burst

Current bar volume ≥ 20-bar SMA volume. Filters out signals that fire on dead bars with no participation.

A 5-step take-profit ladder on every signal

Not one TP. Not three. Five. Drawn directly on the chart, with independent hit-tracking on every level. Scale out, let the rest run, capture both the quick partials and the rare runner — same signal, same trade, no manual screwing around.

TP1 0.5%Primary partial — quick scalp profit, lets you book partial size early
TP2 1.0%Secondary partial — break-even-plus once both partials filled
TP3 1.5%Confluence-confirmed mid runner — the bread-and-butter target
TP4 2.5%Extended runner — for trending markets
TP5 4.0%Full exit — when reached, the signal is closed as a complete win

Partial hits count.

If price hits TP1 and TP2 then reverses and stops out, the signal still counts as a win — partial profit was already booked. The dashboard shows live checkmarks as each level fills.

SL is configurable (default 1.0%). Every percentage is a setting — tune the ladder to your risk profile, your timeframe, your symbol.

All five lines and labels are drawn on the chart, extended 40 bars forward by default, with price labels on the right edge.

Why most signal indicators fail

The problem isn't the math — it's the lack of supporting infrastructure around every signal. Wolf Blackout Trader fixes it by treating the signal as one piece of a system, not the whole system.

The problem with the typical signal indicator

  • A single trigger condition — usually a crossover or oscillator turn
  • No confluence — every trigger weighted the same as every other
  • No automatic SL or TP — you compute risk by hand or skip it
  • No higher-timeframe context — you trade against the macro
  • No volume filter — signals fire on dead bars
  • Repaints on the open bar — historical replay lies about real-time behavior
  • No dashboard — no live state visibility, no W/L tracking
  • No webhook output — can't connect to automation

How Wolf Blackout Trader solves it

  • Dual Range Filter trigger + 4 independent confirmation filters
  • 5-tier confluence scoring with star indicator on every label
  • Auto SL + 5-step TP ladder drawn on the chart with price labels
  • HTF EMA agreement is a built-in confluence layer
  • Volume burst filter built in as confluence layer 5
  • Non-repaint mode (default ON) — confirmed-bar-only evaluation
  • 22-row dashboard with live W/L tracking and TP hit counters
  • 13 alert events with webhook-ready JSON payloads

A dashboard that tells you everything, instantly

Six sections, 22 rows, live updates on every tick. Read the state of every component without scanning the chart. Position it in any corner. Pick from four sizes.

  • Market Context — trend regime, EMA position, ATR value and ATR%
  • Signal Engine — RSI(14) value and state, HTF agreement, volume ratio
  • Confluence — buy and sell scores with star count, minimum threshold
  • Active Signal — direction, bars ago, entry, P/L%, SL and all 5 TPs with check marks
  • Multi-Timeframe — 5m, 15m, 30m, 1h, 4h, Daily as arrows ▲▼ in mint/red
  • Performance — running W/L, total buys, total sells, TP hit counts, SL hits

A 13-event alert package — wired for webhooks

Every signal, every TP, every stop — pushed to popup, sound, email, mobile, or a webhook URL. Plain text for humans, structured JSON for bots.

13 events, your choice of channel

Create one bundled "Any Signal" alert, or route each event to a different destination. Turn on Webhook JSON Format and the payload becomes machine-parseable for Discord, Telegram, 3Commas, or a custom listener.

  • Signal events — BUY, SELL, Any Signal, STRONG BUY (5★), STRONG SELL (5★)
  • Reversal events — Reversal BUY, Reversal SELL (RSI-extreme detector)
  • Take-profit ladder — TP1, TP2, TP3, TP4, TP5 Hit — each fires independently
  • Risk — SL Hit, with partial-hit accounting (SL after TP1 still books a win)
  • Webhook JSON — indicator, signal, strength, ticker, timeframe, entry, SL, all 5 TPs, volume ratio
  • Non-repaint — alerts fire once per confirmed bar close, no mid-bar flicker

Frequently asked questions

If your question isn't answered here, email [email protected] and we'll respond within 24 hours.

What is the Range Filter signal engine?
Wolf Blackout Trader blends two smoothed-ATR Range Filters — a fast filter (length 32, sensitivity 1.67) and a slow filter (length 89, sensitivity 6.0) — averaged into a single filter line. A BUY trigger fires when price crosses above the filter after a downtrend, and a SELL when it crosses below after an uptrend. The dual blend gives faster response than a slow-only filter without the whipsaws of a fast-only filter.
How does the 5-tier confluence scoring work?
Every Range Filter trigger is scored against five independent confluence layers, each worth one point: (1) the Range Filter trend itself, (2) RSI side — RSI(14) above or below 50, (3) EMA trend — close above or below EMA(144), (4) HTF EMA agreement on a configurable higher timeframe (60-minute by default), (5) Volume burst at or above the 20-bar volume SMA. The signal label shows the star count (1 to 5). The minimum-confluence input (default 2) sets how many layers must agree before a signal is drawn. Each filter is independently toggleable — if a filter is disabled, it still contributes its point so disabling a filter never makes signals stricter.
Why 5 TP targets instead of 3?
A single take-profit forces an all-or-nothing exit. Three TPs work for swing trades but miss the long runners. The 5-step ladder (TP1 0.5% / TP2 1.0% / TP3 1.5% / TP4 2.5% / TP5 4.0%) lets you scale out incrementally while letting the rest run. Each level is tracked independently — if price hits TP1 and TP2 then reverses to stop loss, the signal still counts as a win because partial profit was already booked. The dashboard shows live check marks as each level fills. All five percentages are tunable inputs — you set the ladder that matches your timeframe and risk.
Is the indicator non-repainting?
Yes. Non-Repaint Mode is on by default. Every signal, every level line, every dashboard value is computed on confirmed closed-bar data. A signal at bar N cannot change after bar N+1 opens. Historical replay drawn at indicator load is identical to the signals that fired in real time. The higher-timeframe EMA call uses non-repaint barmerge — no lookahead, no future-bar data.
What is the Reversal Detector?
A second, slower RSI (length 28) tracks overbought and oversold extremes — above 78 or below 27 by default — and confirms the move with an EMA(10) of the RSI itself. When both conditions agree, a small diamond marker is drawn above (sell extreme) or below (buy extreme) the bar. The reversal detector runs independently of the Range Filter signal engine and fires its own alert events — useful for fading parabolic moves or confirming exhaustion before counter-trend entries.
Which markets and timeframes work best?
Every TradingView symbol type — forex majors, exotics, indices, gold, silver, oil, individual stocks, crypto pairs. Every timeframe from M1 to MN1. Higher timeframes (H1 and above) produce fewer, stronger signals; lower timeframes generate more frequent setups. The minimum-confluence input lets you tune signal frequency directly. Default tuning is a good starting point on H1 charts across forex, gold, and the index futures. For crypto and high-volatility stocks, you may want to raise the volume-burst threshold slightly.
How fast do I get access after purchase?
Typical grant time is 4 hours. After checkout, you receive an email with a link to a short Google Form. Submit the form with your TradingView username. We then grant invite-only access on your TradingView account. Once granted, find the indicator under Indicators > Invite-only scripts and add it to any chart with one click.
What does the 60-day money-back guarantee cover?
Full refund within 60 days of purchase. No forms, no escalation, no questions asked. If you are not satisfied for any reason, email [email protected] and we process the refund. The only thing we ask is that you let us know what didn't work for you — purely for product feedback, not as a refund gate.
Does this work on MT4 or MT5?
No, this sales page sells the TradingView (Pine Script v6) build only. There are dedicated MT4 (.ex4) and MT5 (.ex5) builds of Wolf Blackout Trader sold separately on the MQL5.com Market with auto-installation. No standalone software, no installer, no MetaTrader files are bundled with this purchase.
What if I need help configuring the indicator?
Every purchase includes a full PDF user manual covering installation, every input parameter, the dashboard, alerts, and best-practice tuning for forex, crypto, gold, and stocks. If you still need help, email [email protected] — average response time is under 24 hours.
