Before looking at any signal, glance at the 3-column dashboard in the top corner of your chart. The first column shows the TQI score — this tells you the quality of the current trend environment. A TQI above 0.5 means the trend is clean and directional, which is where the indicator performs best. Below 0.3, the market is choppy and you should be cautious or stand aside entirely. Next, check the Regime field — "Trending" is your green light; "Ranging" means the ADX is below threshold and the market lacks directional commitment. Finally, look at the Confluence section to see which filters are aligned and which are not. The dashboard gives you a complete environmental assessment before you ever consider a trade.
In the indicator settings, decide which confluence filters to activate. At minimum, we recommend enabling the EMA Cloud and ADX filter — these two alone eliminate the majority of whipsaw signals by requiring directional alignment and a trending environment. Even with a ★★★ signal, spend 3 seconds checking the dashboard context. Is the RSI already in overbought territory (above 70) on a BUY signal? That could mean the move is extended and a pullback is imminent — consider waiting for a retest. Is the session range already 80% exhausted? The remaining potential move may be limited. Is price sitting right at a support/resistance level that could act as a barrier? The dashboard shows all of this at a glance, giving you the context to decide not just whether to trade, but how aggressively to trade. A ★★★ signal with RSI at 55 and a fresh session range is very different from a ★★★ signal with RSI at 78 and an exhausted daily range.
