The Five Confluence Gates
Each gate captures a different structural failure mode. Independence is the key — two gates that measure the same thing are not real confluence.
EMA(100) Bias
Blocks longs while the close is below EMA(100); blocks shorts above. Catches counter-medium-term reversal flips — the single biggest source of SuperTrend whipsaws.
RSI Extreme Filter
Blocks long entries when RSI is above the overbought threshold (default 70) and short entries when below oversold (default 30). No more chasing extended moves.
ADX Trending
Blocks signals when ADX is below the minimum threshold (default 20). Pure ranging conditions get filtered out before they fire. Eliminates the dominant failure mode.
Volume Above Average
Blocks flips on bars where tick volume is below its N-bar moving average. Real trends carry real participation; thin-market flips usually fail the next session.
HTF SuperTrend Agreement
Computes the same SuperTrend on a higher timeframe (default 4× current) and blocks signals against it. Uses the last fully-closed HTF bar so the gate is non-repainting.
Three Filter Modes
Loose
Every raw trend flip fires alerts. The chart shows every flip as an arrow. Use this to back-test edge frequency.
Balanced (3 of 5)
The default. A signal must pass at least three of the five enabled gates. Best balance of signal count and quality.
Strict
A signal must pass every enabled gate. Fewest signals, highest individual quality. Pair with STRONG BUY/SELL alerts.

No. Signals are evaluated on closed bars only, gated by Pine's `barstate.isconfirmed`. Once an arrow, TP, SL or VWAP line is drawn on a closed bar, it never changes on subsequent ticks.
