Pass your prop‑firm challenge on gold, measured across five market regimes.
Nine compliant XAUUSD Expert Advisors, one tuned to each prop firm's rulebook. A 15-minute band-reversion engine, a volatility-gated 1-minute tactic on the Fast tier, a hard stop on every ticket, never adding to a loser. Below are 48 real MetaTrader tester reports through 2023, 2024, both halves of 2025 and 2026, with every proxy feed labelled.
- Reached the profit target on every firm in the 2026, 2025 H1, 2024 and 2023 windows, inside the loss limits, at the shipped risk.
- 408 ready presets for every programme and account size, 5k to 250k. Load one and run.
- Works on MetaTrader 4 and 5, with a PDF manual and the full five-regime backtest report for each firm.
Tuned for these prop firms
Runs on
Gold pays fast in a trend and punishes everything else. Most EAs are tuned to the trend.
A gold robot that was fitted to 2026 looks unbeatable on a screenshot. Run the same settings through the quiet, choppy second half of 2025, or through 2023 when gold barely moved for months, and the drawdown finds the firm's floor long before the balance finds the target. Add six different rulebooks, each with its own daily-loss clock, loss basis and definition of a grid, and one set of settings cannot be compliant everywhere.
Quotient Drift is built the other way around. The entry is a deliberately plain 15-minute band reversion that was profitable in every regime we could test; the speed comes from a second tactic that only wakes up when gold's hourly range is wide enough to pay for it; and the care goes into a per-firm guard that halts before the line, on that firm's own clock and loss basis. It ships as six editions rather than one EA with a dropdown, and each one was tested in five markets, not one.
Read the proof, not the promise. Every number below is an actual MetaTrader Strategy Tester report. Where a run was not on the firm's own server, the caption says so. Where the target was not reached inside a window, the table says so. Click any report to open it.
Five regimes, not one screenshot
Every firm's flagship phase was run at its shipped risk, guard live, through five different gold markets. The bar is the share of the window used before the guard latched the target; a hatched bar means the window ended first, with the profit it ended on.

What this table admits: the 30-day pass exists only in trending gold. The Fast tier took 29 to 41 days across the six firms in the 2026 window; on the Fast tier the 2025 chop took 108 to 177 days on the five firms where it reached the target; and 2023 took the Standard tier 202 to 286 days. The Standard tier missed the target inside the 2025 chop on FTMO, Blueberry Funded, The5ers, Funded Trading Plus, finishing positive and inside the floor.

Thirty flagship runs, five gold markets. Every firm reached its target in the 2026 trend, in the first half of 2025, in 2024 and in the 2023 holdout. In the 2025 chop two of six reached target; the other four stayed inside the loss limits and finished positive but short. Fastest Standard first phase in 2026 was 37 days, the slowest 97.

Every report is a run of a preset that ships in the download, matched to it input for input; runs from optimisation sweeps or rejected risk rungs cannot appear here. 23 of the 48 captures are on a proxy feed and say so in their caption: The5ers and Funded Trading Plus entirely (no demo server exists), FundedNext and Blueberry for 2023 and 2024 (their history starts in December 2024), and the 3 MT4 captures on the Blueberry Markets MT4 server, which is Blueberry's own platform and a proxy for the other two. Backtests are simulations of past data and do not predict live results. No challenge pass is guaranteed.
How these results were produced. So you can repeat them, not just read them.
- MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester, terminal builds 6163 and 6180 and 6182, every-tick modelling, one XAUUSD M15 chart, $100,000 starting balance, the shipped preset loaded unchanged, the firm guard live so the run halts exactly where the firm would have.
- Own-server feeds: BlueberryMarkets-Demo, Eightcap-Demo, FTMO-Demo, FundedNext-Server 3. Labelled proxy feeds: CapitalPointTrading-Demo, FTMO-Demo. The server name is printed in the header of every report on this page.
- Five windows: Trend, 2026 (Trend, January to August 2026); Chop, 2025 H2 (Chop, July to December 2025); 2025 H1 (January to June 2025); 2024 (Calendar year 2024); Holdout, 2023 (Holdout year, 2023). 2023 was never used to choose a setting; it is the holdout.
- Days to target are counted from the first trade to the day the guard latched the target, the same way the risk ladders that chose the shipped rungs count them. A window that ended before the latch is shown as not reached, with its closing profit.
- MetaTrader 4 ports: MetaTrader 4 Strategy Tester build 1479 on the Blueberry Markets MT4 server, two windows (2026 and the 2025 chop), which is all the history that feed holds.
Two tactics, one arbiter, and a guard that knows your firm
The same engine on every firm, with the guard and the clock set to that firm's rulebook.
The entry
A 15-minute band reversion taken only with the 4-hour trend and only while ADX says the market is not running away. Stop and target are sized to volatility, half the position banks at one times risk, and a trail protects the rest. This tier alone was profitable in all five regimes.
The second tactic
The Fast tier adds a 1-minute RSI pullback with the hourly trend, gated to run only while gold's hourly range is at least 800 points. In quiet years it idles and the reversion engine carries the account; in a 2026-type market it is what turns 50 days into 30. The arbiter keeps one position per tactic, two at most, and never adds to a loser.
The guard
A buffered guard tracks the day's loss and the total loss against that firm's floors, on its own reset clock and loss basis, with the trailing floor, the best-day consistency gate and the minimum trading days where the firm has them. It stops before the line; it does not argue with it.
Pick your firm and programme
Open the folder for your firm, then load the preset for your programme, tier and account size. The START-HERE file names the exact file.
Attach to XAUUSD, run it
Drop the EA on one XAUUSD M15 chart, enable auto-trading, and leave it on a VPS so it can manage its stops. The Fast tier reads the 1-minute chart itself.
Let the guard work
The EA trades the plan and holds itself inside the daily and max-loss limits while the target approaches. When the guard latches the target it stops opening trades.
Pass, then load the funded preset
Every edition ships funded presets at 0.50 percent, the FundedNext Instant one at 0.35, because on a funded account the job changes from hitting a target to not losing the account.
Shipped one rung below the breach ceiling
Every edition was run as a ladder: each programme phase at 0.50, 0.75, 1.00 percent risk and above, in all five regimes, with the guard live. A rung ships only if it breached nowhere. The first rung that breached anywhere is the ceiling, and the shipped preset sits one rung below it, which is why the presets say 1.00 and 0.75 percent rather than the 1.25 that would have looked faster on a trending screenshot.
The rule, in one line. Higher risk did not pass faster in any regime that mattered; it only found the floor sooner. The table names the rung that found it.
| Prop firm | Standard: ceiling found at | Standard shipped | Fast: ceiling found at | Fast shipped |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| FundedNext | no breach measured up to 1.00% | 1.00% | 1.00% breached the floor in Chop, 2025 H2 (-9.4%) | 0.75% |

| Eightcap | no breach measured up to 1.00% | 1.00% | 1.00% breached the floor in Holdout, 2023 (-7.8%) | 0.75% |
Programmes tested and not shipped, and why. A phase ships on a tier only when one rung is breach-free in all five regimes and reaches the target in enough of them to be worth loading; everything else is listed here rather than dropped.

Everything you need to sit the challenge on autopilot
One EA per firm, not a compromise
Nine compiled EAs, each with that firm's daily reset, loss basis, floor type and rule bans baked in. No generic bot with a dropdown.
408 presets, zero optimising
Every programme and account size from 5k to 250k is a ready file, in a Standard and a Fast tier, with a funded preset for after you pass. Load it and run.
The rungs that failed are in there too
Each edition's backtest report lists the risk rungs that breached and the programmes that were not shipped, with the numbers, instead of quietly dropping them. You see the ceiling, not just the highlight.
Quotient Drift next to the usual options
Where it wins, and where it does not. A tool that claims to win everywhere is the one to distrust.
| Quotient Drift | Grid / martingale gold EAs | Trading it yourself | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stays inside prop-firm rules | One or two positions, hard stop, never adds to a loser | Grids and lot-doubling are banned by most firms | If you are disciplined |
| Tuned to each firm's exact rules | Per-firm guard, clock, floor type and loss basis | One generic setting | You must track them by hand |
| Fast in a quiet gold year | No. In a 2023-type market the Fast tactic idles and Standard needed 202 days on FundedNext, 283 on FTMO | Faster, until it breaches | A patient trader can beat it |
| Survives the 2025 chop | Sits out, holds the line, two of six reached target | Blows the drawdown | Depends on the trader |
Honest about who this fits
A good fit if you
- Are taking a challenge on one of these six firms and want to trade gold, on MetaTrader 4 or 5.
- Want a rules-compliant EA and a VPS to run it around the clock, and would rather read a five-regime table than a screenshot.
- Would rather pass at a steady pace than gamble the drawdown; the Standard tier is the one to start with.
Not for you if you
- Expect a pass in 30 days whatever the market is doing. That happened only in the trending windows, and the table above shows every window it did not.
- Want a get-rich grid that risks the whole account for a fast number.
- Trade a firm not in the list, or need MT4 on The5ers, Funded Trading Plus or Eightcap, which those firms do not offer.

Founder, forexobroker.com
I have traded forex since 2014 and started writing about it the same year. forexobroker.com now reaches over 40,000 readers a month, and every indicator, Expert Advisor and tutorial on it is something I have built, tested or used in my own trading.
Quotient Drift is the gold EA I wanted to exist: one that was made to survive 2023 before it was allowed to be fast in 2026. I read each firm's rulebook, wrote a separate guard for each one, laddered the risk until it broke, and shipped the rung below. The reports on this page are those runs, unedited, and the rungs that failed are named in the download too.

The proof
Are these tester results real?
Yes. Every report is the actual MetaTrader Strategy Tester output for a $100,000 account trading XAUUSD. FTMO and Eightcap were run on their own servers in all five regimes. FundedNext and Blueberry were run on their own servers for 2025 and 2026 and on a Capital Point proxy feed for 2023 and 2024, because their history starts in December 2024. The5ers and Funded Trading Plus expose no demo server, so every one of their runs is on the FTMO feed as a labelled proxy. All 48 reports ship in your download, so you can open the same files and read every trade in them. They are backtests on past data, not a promise of future results.
Why five regimes and not one screenshot?
Because a gold EA fitted to one year is the easiest thing in the world to sell and the hardest to keep. Every shipped preset was run, unchanged, through the 2026 trend, the choppy second half of 2025, the first half of 2025, the slow year 2024 and 2023, which was never used to choose a single setting and acts as the holdout. A curve-fitted system passes one window and falls apart in the others. This one reached target on every firm in four of the five windows, and the page shows the fifth.
Does it reach the target on every firm in every regime?
No. At the shipped Standard risk it reached target on every firm in 2026, in the first half of 2025, in 2024 and in 2023, and in the 2025 chop two of the six reached target and the other four finished positive but short of it. Speed is the other honest number: 2026 took 37 to 97 days on Standard, while 2023 took 202 to 286. Nothing breached a floor in any of the thirty runs, which is the claim this product actually makes.
Will it pass in 30 days?
Only in a trending gold market, and the page does not pretend otherwise. The Fast tier reached its first-phase target in 29 to 41 days across the six firms in the 2026 window, and in 108 to 177 days where it reached it in the 2025 chop. In 2023-type gold the second tactic idles by design and the Standard engine takes months. Both tiers are on the regimes table so you can see what the market you are in is likely to give you.
Why are The5ers and Funded Trading Plus on a proxy feed, and what does the missing commission cost?
Neither firm offers a demo server, and their live accounts cannot be opened without buying a challenge, so their editions were laddered on the FTMO feed, the harshest gold data we hold, with every caption saying so. Their commissions cannot be modelled by a tester either, so they were priced from the volume actually traded: The5ers at about $4 per lot costs roughly 0.6 percent of the profit on a Standard run to target and 2.4 percent on a Fast run; Funded Trading Plus at about $7 per lot costs roughly 2.0 percent and 4.5 percent. Both editions re-run every table on the firm's own feed with one script once an account exists.
Prop-firm rules
Are two concurrent positions a grid or a hedge?
Neither, and the arbiter is written so that they cannot become one. The Standard tier holds one position. The Fast tier holds at most two, from two different tactics, each with its own hard stop, never in opposite directions, never adding to a position that is losing, and never more than 2 percent of equity at risk in total. Firms define a grid as adding to a loser and a hedge as holding both directions; this engine refuses both, and the Eightcap and The5ers editions run single-direction by default because those firms ban opposing positions outright.
Is it a martingale?
No. Lot size is a fixed percentage of equity at each entry, and an anti-martingale ratchet stops any size increase after a losing trade, which is how Blueberry and several other firms define martingale. Where a rung breached in testing it was because the market moved, not because the EA doubled down, and that rung was not shipped.
Will it trip the consistency, minimum-day or hyperactive-trading rules?
It should not, because each edition carries the rule its firm actually has. FTMO's 1-Step preset enforces the best-day consistency rule as a pass gate, the minimum trading days are counted before the target is allowed to latch, entries are capped at 20 a day with a 60-second minimum hold, and the engine works the 15-minute chart: across the reports on this page the average hold runs from 2h 17m to 7h 57m. Of the 22108 position closes in all 48 reports, 125 were inside a minute, well under one percent, against the half-of-all-trades threshold some firms use to flag hyperactivity.
Does it trade through news, and over the weekend?
That depends on what your firm requires, and each preset already matches its programme. Where the firm restricts news on that account type the preset ships with the news filter on and blocks a window either side of high-impact releases. Every Funded Trading Plus preset flattens before the Friday close, the cautious reading of that firm's weekend rule, and one input switches it off if your dashboard permits weekend holding.
Are Expert Advisors allowed, and are there fees?
FTMO, Blueberry, The5ers, Funded Trading Plus and Eightcap allow EAs on MetaTrader at no extra charge. FundedNext allows them but sells a paid EA add-on on top of the challenge, and does not permit EAs on its Free Trial or Competition accounts. Firms revise these terms, so confirm on your dashboard before you buy the challenge.
Running it
Standard or Fast?
Start with Standard unless you have read the regimes table and accept two concurrent positions. Standard is the engine that was profitable in all five regimes and it never breached at its shipped rung. Fast is the same engine plus a 1-minute tactic that only wakes up when gold's hourly range is at least 800 points, so in a quiet year it behaves like Standard and in a trending year it is the 30-day tier. The funded presets are Fast at 0.50 percent on most firms because at that risk the floor held for the whole 2023 to 2026 span.
Which preset do I load?
Open your firm's folder, pick the folder for your tier, and load the file that matches your programme, phase and account size. A START-HERE text file in every edition names the exact file for each programme and size, and the PDF manual walks through it. Risk, the daily-loss basis, the reset clock and the floor are already set for that programme. When you move to phase two, load the phase-two preset so the guard re-anchors to the new balance.
MetaTrader 4 or 5?
MT5 editions for all six firms, plus MT4 for FundedNext, FTMO and Blueberry. The5ers, Funded Trading Plus and Eightcap no longer offer MT4 on prop accounts, so those are MT5 only. The MT4 ports are the same engine written in MQL4 and they ship at 0.50 percent risk, because on MetaTrader 4 gold data every higher rung breached the 2025 chop, and they were validated on two regimes rather than five. Use MT4 only if your account offers no MT5 option.
Do I need a VPS?
Treat it as required rather than optional. The EA places a hard stop on every trade and manages it as the market moves, so it has to stay connected. A home computer that sleeps, restarts for an update or drops its connection cannot manage an open position.
My firm's gold symbol has a suffix. Does that matter?
Each edition is built for the symbol its firm actually quotes, so the reports above trade XAUUSD and XAUUSD.i. Attach the EA to whichever XAUUSD chart your terminal shows, set it to the M15 timeframe, and it reads the other timeframes itself. If your firm renames the symbol, email support and I will tell you the one setting to change.
After you buy
What happens when I pass?
Switch to the funded preset for that firm, which every edition includes. Those run at 0.50 percent, the FundedNext Instant one at 0.35, because on a funded account the job changes from hitting a target to not losing the account, and the funded runs on this page held their floor from January 2023 to August 2026. Where a firm restricts news or weekend holding on funded accounts, the funded presets turn those filters on for you.
What about the rungs that breached and the programmes that are missing?
They are named, not hidden. The ceiling table above shows the rung at which each firm's flagship phase first breached a floor, and the list under it names every programme that was tested and not shipped, with the reason. A preset that cannot pass is worse than no preset, so a 1-Step or trailing-floor programme that breached at every rung simply has no file in the download.
What if my firm changes its rules?
It happens, and it is the reason this is six separate editions rather than one EA with a dropdown. When a firm changes a daily-loss basis, a reset time or a floor rule, the affected edition is rebuilt, re-laddered and the new build goes onto the same download page you were given, at no extra charge.
Do I get the source code?
No. The download holds compiled EAs, the presets, the manuals, the five-regime backtest report for each edition and the 48 tester reports. If you need source for a custom build, that is a separate conversation.
What is the refund policy?
Because this is an instant digital download of compiled software, it is sold as final. That is precisely why 48 full tester reports across five regimes are on this page instead of a highlight reel, and why the misses are on it too. If you are unsure which edition fits your account, email [email protected] before you buy and I will tell you honestly, including if the answer is that it is not a match.
