Pass your prop-firm challenge on the cross pairs, inside the rules it actually enforces.
Nine compliant AUDCAD and NZDCAD Expert Advisors, one tuned to each prop firm's exact rulebook. One position per pair, a hard stop on every trade, no grid. Below are 48 real MetaTrader tester reports, run on the firms' own servers, with the two exceptions labelled.
- Hit the profit target on every firm's trending and worst-case-start backtest, inside the loss limits.
- 508 ready presets for every program and account size. Load one and run.
- Works on MetaTrader 4 and 5, with a PDF manual for each firm.
Tuned for these prop firms
Runs on
Prop firms do not share a rulebook. Most EAs pretend they do.
One firm measures your daily loss from the balance you started the day with; another from the higher of balance or equity at 5pm New York time. One caps the loss from your initial balance; another trails it behind your best day. One permits grids; another counts any lot increase after a loss as martingale. An EA with one set of settings is compliant on one of those firms and a breach waiting to happen on the rest, no matter how the trades did.
CrossPairForge is built the other way around. The entry is deliberately simple and robust; the care goes into a per-firm guard that halts before the line, on that firm's own clock and loss basis. That is why it ships as six editions rather than one EA with a dropdown.
Read the proof, not the promise. Every number below is an actual MetaTrader Strategy Tester report. Where a run was not on the firm's own server, the caption says so. Click any one to open the full report.
48 real MetaTrader tester reports, eight per firm
Each one is an actual Strategy Tester report for a $100,000 account trading AUDCAD and NZDCAD from one chart, through a trending market, six flat months, and a worst-case start in January 2025. Click any report to open it full size.
Eighteen MetaTrader 5 runs, three opposite markets. Every trending run and every worst-case-start run reached its firm's target. Fastest phase 1 was 23 days; the slowest trending pass took 82. Through the six flat months of 2025 only FTMO reached target; the other five stayed inside their loss limits and finished positive but short.

Backtests on each firm's own MetaTrader 5 server feed with recorded spread and commission, $100,000 account, AUDCAD and NZDCAD M5. Every report is a run of a preset that ships in the download, matched to it input for input. Funded Trading Plus was run on a proxy feed with its commission modelled; the 8 MT4 captures are on a Capital Point proxy feed. Trend window 2026, flat window 2025 second half, worst-case window from January 2025. Backtests are simulations of past data and do not predict live results. No challenge pass is guaranteed.
Built to stay inside the rules
The same engine on every firm, with the guard and the clock set to that firm's rulebook.
The entry
A momentum signal on the 5-minute chart, taken only when the hourly ADX says the pair is actually moving. Take-profit is sized to hourly volatility, so it adapts as the cross speeds up or slows down.
The protection
A hard broker stop-loss sits on every ticket, so a gap or a dropped connection cannot leave a trade unprotected. Half the position banks at one times risk. One position per pair, never a grid.
The guard
A buffered guard tracks the day's loss and total loss and stops before the firm's line, on that firm's own daily-reset clock, time zone and loss basis.
Pick your firm and program
Open the folder for your firm, then load the preset for your program and account size.
Attach to AUDCAD, run it
Drop the EA on an AUDCAD M5 chart, enable auto-trading, and leave it on a VPS so it can manage its stops. On MT5 it trades NZDCAD from the same chart.
Let the guard work
The EA trades the plan and holds itself inside the daily and max-loss limits while the target approaches.
Pass, then keep the settings
Use the funded preset once you clear the challenge. Same engine, sized down.
Everything you need to sit the challenge on autopilot
One EA per firm, not a compromise
Nine compiled EAs, each with that firm's daily reset, loss basis and rule bans baked in. No fiddling with a generic bot.
508 presets, zero optimizing
Every program and account size from 5k to 200k is a ready file. Load it and run; the settings are already dialled in.
The tiers that failed are in there too
Where a risk rung breached or only passed in a trend, the edition's backtest report says so with the numbers, instead of quietly dropping it. You see the ceiling, not just the highlight.
CrossPairForge next to the usual options
Where it wins, and where it does not. A tool that claims to win everywhere is the one to distrust.
| CrossPairForge | Grid / martingale EAs | Trading it yourself | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stays inside prop-firm rules | One position per pair, hard stop | Grids are banned by most firms | If you are disciplined |
| Tuned to each firm's exact rules | Per-firm guard, clock and loss basis | One generic setting | You must track them by hand |
| Fast in a quiet market | No. A flat cross pair can take months | Faster, until it breaches | A great trader can beat it |
| Survives a choppy market | Sits out, holds the line | Blows the drawdown | Depends on the trader |
Honest about who this fits
A good fit if you
- Are taking a challenge on one of these six firms and are happy to trade the cross pairs rather than gold.
- Want a rules-compliant EA and a VPS to run it around the clock.
- Would rather pass at a steady pace than gamble the drawdown.
Not for you if you
- Expect a pass in under three weeks whatever the market is doing. A flat cross pair can take months, and the reports above show it.
- Want a get-rich grid that risks the whole account for a fast number.
- Trade a firm not in the list, or need MT4 on The5ers, Funded Trading Plus or Eightcap, which those firms do not offer.
Nine EAs. 508 presets. Every program, already configured.

Founder, forexobroker.com
I have traded forex since 2014 and started writing about it the same year. forexobroker.com now reaches over 40,000 readers a month, and every indicator, Expert Advisor and tutorial on it is something I have built, tested or used in my own trading.
CrossPairForge came out of that same habit. I read each firm's rulebook, wrote a separate guard for each one, and ran them on that firm's own server through a trending market, six flat months and a worst-case start before any of it reached this page. The reports above are those runs, unedited, and the tiers that failed testing are named in the download too.
No get-rich claims and no guaranteed win rates. Trading is a probability business. If you want to know whether a particular edition suits your account before you buy, email me at [email protected] and I will tell you straight.

The proof
Are these tester results real?
Yes. Every report is the actual MetaTrader Strategy Tester output for a $100,000 account trading AUDCAD and NZDCAD. Five of the six firms were run on their own server with its real spread and commission. Funded Trading Plus does not expose a tester server, so its runs are on a proxy feed with the firm's commission modelled, and they are labelled as such. All 48 ship in your download, so you can open the same files and read every trade in them. They are backtests on past data, not a promise of future results.
How do I know it is not just fitted to one lucky period?
Because every flagship preset was run three times with no setting changed: a trending 2026 market, the flat second half of 2025, and a worst-case start on 1 January 2025 running through August 2026, and all three runs are on this page. A curve-fitted system passes one window and falls apart in the others. These reached target in the trending and worst-case windows on every firm, and in the six flat months of 2025 only FTMO reached target and the other five finished positive but short. That is what an honest result looks like, and it is why this page is blunt about speed.
Will it do the same on a live account?
No backtest does, and you should assume live is somewhat worse. A tester run has no entry slippage, no requotes and a connection that never drops. That gap is part of why the challenge presets run at 0.75 to 1.5 percent risk, below each firm's measured ceiling, and why the funded presets are the most conservative in the pack. Run it on a demo of your firm's server before the real challenge.
Is passing the challenge guaranteed?
No, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something. The market decides. In testing, the six flagship phase-1 programs reached target in 23 to 82 days when the crosses trended, in 50 to 447 days from a worst-case January 2025 start, and in the six flat months of 2025 only FTMO reached target and the other five finished positive but short. No EA can guarantee a funded account.
Prop-firm rules
Are Expert Advisors allowed, and are there fees?
FTMO, Blueberry, The5ers, Funded Trading Plus and Eightcap allow EAs on MetaTrader at no extra charge. FundedNext allows them but sells a paid EA add-on on top of the challenge, and does not permit EAs on its Free Trial or Competition accounts. Firms revise these terms, so confirm on your dashboard before you buy the challenge.
Is this a grid or a martingale?
No. The engine holds one position per pair with a hard broker stop-loss on every ticket, and never adds to a losing trade. Every edition ships with its grid module switched off, and on the firms that ban grids the EA refuses to start if it is switched on. FTMO permits grids, so that edition includes a clearly labelled optional grid preset set you never have to use.
Will it trip the HFT or hyperactive-trading rules?
It should not. The engine trades the 5-minute chart and holds positions for hours: across the reports on this page the average hold runs from 1h 06m to 9h 40m. Of the 1917 position closes in all 48 reports, 15 were inside a minute, about one percent, against the half-of-all-trades threshold Blueberry uses to flag hyperactive trading. Trade counts are in the dozens across a whole challenge, nowhere near any daily trade or message limit.
Does it trade through news?
That depends on what your firm requires, and each preset already matches its program. Where the firm restricts news on that account type, the preset ships with the news filter on and blocks a window either side of high-impact releases. Where there is no news rule during the challenge, it ships off so you are not sitting out tradeable sessions for nothing.
Can I run it on several accounts or firms at once?
Technically yes, on separate terminals with each firm's own edition. Before you do, check your firm's position on running identical strategies across multiple accounts and on copy trading between them. Several firms restrict it. That is a rule about your accounts rather than about this EA, so it is worth reading before you scale up.
Running it
Do I need a VPS?
Treat it as required rather than optional. The EA places a hard stop on every trade and manages it as the market moves, so it has to stay connected. A home computer that sleeps, restarts for an update or drops its connection cannot manage an open position.
Which preset do I load?
Open your firm's folder, pick the folder for the program you bought, and load the file that matches your account size. A START-HERE text file in every edition names the exact file for each program and size, and the PDF manual walks through it. Risk, the daily-loss basis, the reset clock and the max-loss floor are already set for that program.
What if my account size is not one of the presets?
Load the nearest size below yours. Risk is set as a percentage of the account, so a preset built for 50k behaves correctly on a 60k account and simply runs a little conservative. Sizes cover 5k to 200k on every firm, with the FTMO MT4 set starting at 10k.
My firm's symbol has a suffix. Does that matter?
Each edition is built for the symbols that firm actually uses, so the Blueberry and Eightcap editions expect AUDCAD.i and NZDCAD.i and the others expect AUDCAD and NZDCAD. Attach the EA to whichever AUDCAD chart your terminal shows and set it to the M5 timeframe; on MT5 it trades NZDCAD from that same chart. If your firm renames a symbol, email support and I will tell you the one setting to change.
Do I need to understand the settings or write any code?
No. Loading a preset sets every input. The manual explains what each one does if you want to know, but nothing needs changing, and editing the guard settings is the quickest way to break compliance with your firm's rules.
Why AUDCAD and NZDCAD, and why not gold?
Because a quiet cross pair is where this engine holds its drawdown. The two crosses move a fraction of what gold does, which is exactly why the worst balance drawdown across all 48 reports stayed at 7.52 percent against firm limits of 4 to 10. The price of that is speed: when the pairs go flat, so does the equity curve, and the flat-market column above shows it. If you want a gold EA, this is not it.
MetaTrader 4 or 5?
MT5 editions for all six firms, plus MT4 for FundedNext, FTMO and Blueberry. The5ers, Funded Trading Plus and Eightcap no longer offer MT4 on prop accounts, so those are MT5 only. The MT5 editions trade AUDCAD and NZDCAD from one chart; the MT4 editions trade AUDCAD only, because NZDCAD was tested on the MT4 feed and rejected. MT4 and MT5 presets are separate files because the two platforms store timeframes differently.
After you buy
What happens when I pass?
Switch to the FUNDED preset for that firm, which every edition includes. Those run at lower risk, 0.25 to 0.75 percent, because on a funded account the job changes from hitting a target to not losing the account. Where a firm restricts news or weekend holding on funded accounts, the funded presets turn those filters on for you.
What about the trend-only and not-recommended tiers?
A few tiers with a trailing drawdown, a short deadline or a thin ceiling reached target in the trending window and drew down in the flat one. They are labelled trend-only in the preset folders and the guide steers you to the all-weather tiers unless a trend is already under way. Blueberry Rapid has a 7-day limit that no measured run reached, so its MT5 preset folder is marked not recommended and the MT4 edition has no Rapid preset at all. Eightcap in the flat window made 0.3 percent in six months. None of that is hidden.
What if my firm changes its rules?
It happens, and it is the reason this is six separate editions rather than one EA with a dropdown. When a firm changes a daily-loss basis, a reset time or a drawdown rule, the affected edition is rebuilt and the new build goes onto the same download page you were given, at no extra charge.
Do I get the source code?
No. The download holds compiled EAs, the presets, the manuals and the tester reports. If you need source for a custom build, that is a separate conversation.
What is the refund policy?
Because this is an instant digital download of compiled software, it is sold as final. That is precisely why 48 full tester reports are on this page instead of a highlight reel. If you are unsure which edition fits your account, email [email protected] before you buy and I will tell you honestly, including if the answer is that it is not a match.
